Na última semana, o Prefeito Laerte Sonsin Jr, e Edemilson Santos, Vice-Prefeito e Secretário de Desenvolvimento Econômico, receberam o Vice-Presidente Corporativo de Recursos Humanos da Mentor Media, Tan Ching Huat, e a Business Controller, Ana Ferreira, que explicaram as expansões do grupo empresarial.
A Mentor Media, empresa multinacional de serviços de cadeia de suprimentos, transferiu suas instalações de Diadema, São Paulo, para Salto em 2021. A cidade foi escolhida por sua localização estratégica e sua infraestrutura superior, pois a Mentor precisa aumentar a capacidade e capitalizar o crescente mercado brasileiro.
Novos investimentos de expansão em Salto estão em andamento, gerando atualmente cerca de 70 empregos à medida que a empresa aumenta suas operações. A empresa também emprega aprendizes, em parceria com a Prefeitura de Salto, para desenvolver talentos locais.
